If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; But because you are not of the world, before I chose you from the world, that is why the world hates you. John 15: 18-19

How many times do we wonder where we fail as Christians and followers of Christ in terms of family, friends, colleagues etc. etc. ?

There are times when you put all your effort to maintain a relationship of friendship, brotherhood, couple and it does not seem to work. You follow the spiritual advice but still the situation does not seem to be fixed but to get worse! You may have said "that advice that the pastor / brother gave me did not work for me."

See with what acceptance the Lord says these words: If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

Well sustained, conscientious and acceptable words!

The Lord knew his mission

Christ came to the world with a purpose that never forgot, in his prayers God always affirmed his mission and gave him strength.

That is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, to take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to put it, and I have power to take it again. This command I received from my Father. John 10: 17-18

Many times we feel that we do not adapt and it is because our mission in this world is one, to be different. When we come to the Lord we become his followers / disciples.

A disciple learns from his teacher and our teacher taught us that by coming to him, we are transformed, our mission is to be different and we will be hated for the same!

You are no longer of this world

"If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, before I chose you from the world, that is why the world hates you."

Sometimes you need to remember this word. Understand that even if we fight and strive to "like" everyone, that just won't happen.

Our Lord was a "model" of love, holiness and wisdom, even so the world did not accept him, this should give us light to accept that we will be constantly rejected, we are living the last times and I have news for you, this will not get better !

You and I are no longer of this world, although we must love those who persecute us, and reject us.

Many times what they reject is the faith that you bear, that faith in Christ. The beliefs of many are varied, but, do not despair, accept your mission in this land as well.

We are here to reach souls, speak God's word of truth and guide his children on the path of holiness. This is our mission, let's talk like the teacher did with conscious words of the way to go.

Let us courageously accept that the world does not accept what is not his, love and forgive as the Lord did because he came for these people, not for the saints!
